G-Bay Heats Up, LeMonds Responds to Skeptics

G-Bay starting to garner attention.

  • Erik Carlson sold his Thor Impact Rig to Randy Toney.
  • Marcus Faber was looking for a full-suspension XC bike. Lance had one for sale. Marcus now owns Lance’s Gary Fisher Cake.
  • Kelly Hinkle bought my Marzocchi Marathon.
  • Ken Pearson provided a kid’s bike on loan for my grandson.

Paul and Jack are a little sad. Paul’s incredibly entertaining story about his high-end Giant has failed to generate a sale (http://writeteknorthwest.com/archives/1626/norris-offers-giant-bike-for-teeny-tiny-price).

And Jack is having trouble even giving things away (http://writeteknorthwest.com/archives/1349/massive-sale-giveaway-from-jack).

Do what you can to help them out. And – don’t forget to post something of your own.

LeMonds responds to doubters.
It has come to my attention that several people were skeptical about the veracity (look it up) of my post about Thomas Mueller’s run-in with the U.S. Forest Service. View at http://writeteknorthwest.com/archives/1543/u-s-forest-service-issues-warrant-for-thomas-mueller

Let me make this clear – I do not make things up. I rely only on facts and hold myself to the highest journalistic standards as practiced by my mentor Bill “Big Daddy” O’Reilly.

I’m guessing that the skepticism stems from an unfortunate series of events in 2007 that led to a less-than-flattering story about the famed Killer Burritos.

KB detractor Andy Crump made a number of critical remarks about the group, which I meticulously noted and then included in the story. The coward subsequently decided he would try to weasel out of taking responsibility for his comments, blaming this journalist for distorting the facts in an effort to inflame an already sensitive situation.

Needless to say, Crump is a liar. Think about it. The guy is a salesman. He lies for a living.

Trust me. There’s no need for you to waste time thinking. Just believe.
