Eric Loney of Project 529 and Growlers Gulch Racing picked up his second consecutive win on the pro DH circuit at Willamette Pass on August 9th.

In the best-of-two-runs format, Loney clocked a 4:30.15 in the first round, just .18 ahead of Jared Hobbs. “I knew I was gonna have to pin it in the second run and hope for no mistakes,” Loney said.

He nailed the second run, cutting five seconds off his time from the opening round, to finish in 4:25.88. “I carried much better corner speed and pedaled like Lance – that’s Brigman I’m talking about, not Armstrong.”

Eric’s next race is Fluidride Cup #5 at Port Angeles on August 23rd.
