Darrell Jamieson likes Colorado.

After taking the national DH crown in July at Sol Vista, Jamieson followed that by winning the Cat 1 Masters Division at the Colorado State Downhill Championships at Snowmass on August 9th. Chase Jamieson was sixth in Cat 3 U-12.

Despite crashing twice, Jamieson easily outdistanced the Blast the Mass field, finishing in 4:52.68. Curt Clemetson was more than five seconds back at 4:58.21. Robert Garcia was third with a 4:58.25.

Jamieson – of Project 529 and Growlers Gulch Racing – is currently the top-ranked Cat 1 Masters rider in the nation. Eric Loney – also of Project 529 and Growlers Gulch Racing – is the 42nd-ranked pro in the U.S.

  1. Way to get it done Darrell! I am continually blown away by the caliber of racer/riders in our midst. You’re all amazing.
