5th Annual Bike Park Blowout Set for September 10th

The annual Bike Park Blowout at the Castle Rock Bike Park is ready to rock on Saturday, September 10th. This event is free to all participants.

Construction on the park was started in 2011. In 2012, we had a grand opening and have followed that each year with the Blowout, which features more than a dozen challenge stations and opportunities for fun for riders of all ages.

The main eventĀ gets underway at 10 a.m. However, for the first time, we will be hosting a skills clinic at 9. Lunch will be provided at no charge by North County Recreation Association.

As you can probably guess, it takes a village. We need about 30 volunteers to run the stations and make things work smoothly. If you can lend a hand, please let me know. I guarantee that it will put a smile on your face.

  1. I am in. If you want me to work the speed track let me know who would do the start line. Also it should have an end point just twenty feet sooner; make it a little bit safer

  2. I would like to help out with this event. I rode with the group yesterday and would like to be involved.
