November 18, 2009 on 4:10 pm | In Mountain Biking | 5 CommentsOur newest rider and trailbuilder – Leon Thomas “LT” Mueller – was born at 4:22 p.m. on November 13. He is 7.7 pounds and 19 inches.
Preparing for Saturday's big work party
LT said that he feels healthy and that his parents, Thomas and Ksenia Mueller, are doing well.
LT shrugged off the suggestion that being born on Friday the 13th might be a disadvantage. “Not a problem,” he said. “Being born in November gives me time to put a Christmas list together.”
He has asked for a Pivot frame and is currently negotiating the parts package with his father, who insists that the new ride will be equipped with only German components.
With Thanksgiving approaching all of us at Growlers Gulch Racing – including LT – are thankful that he inherited his mother’s looks.
The U.S. Forest Service has already expressed concern that – like his father – LT may become a rogue trail builder and contribute to problems on the South Coldwater Trail, north of St. Helens.
“No chance of that,” LT said. “Dad’s a little volatile but I’m very mellow.”
