Growlers Gulch Racing will be well-represented at this year’s 24-Hours in the Old Pueblo endurance race in Tucson, Arizona. The event takes place on February 13th.

Melanie Norris, Paul Norris, Dara Muldoon, Jeff Muldoon, and Ryan McMaster of GGR will join more than 1,500 racers at Old Pueblo. All five have extensive experience with pain at Growlers and are eager to see how much suffering they can endure in Tuscon.

Each lap of the 17-mile course includes 1,200 feet of elevation gain. The goal is to rack up as many laps as possible in a 24-hour period.

Old Pueblo started with just 176 riders in 2000 and has evolved into one of the largest endurance races in the world.

The team is sponsored by Kuat Racks, Highlander Cycling, Fort George Brewery, Blacx Seatposts, TurboCat Lights, Kenda, By the BottleSkutt Kilns, Harlot Clothing, Hotel Fifty, and Growlers Gulch Racing.

  4. A little training advice for you guys:
Go out and purchase a cactus and start poking yourselves in the shins with it that way on your night laps it won’t bother you.
