Joel Rogauskus is asking for help with the final 1.5-miles of the reroute of the Golden Spike trail, a unique 12-mile single-track link between the Stella and Growlers Gulch systems.

The work party will take place Saturday, February 20th. Joel asks that you bring an axe or bow saw if possible, although he would be happy if you just brought yourself.

For those who know the local area, meet at the gate just north of the top of Delameter Road/Woodside Drive at 9 a.m.

Those who aren’t familiar with this meeting spot can connect with Joel at Gearhart Gardens at 8:15 a.m. To get to Gearhart, take Exit 36 off I-5. Take a right on Dike Road (second exit heading west). Go right at the stop sign and left at Gearhart Gardens Park.

If you can lend a hand, contact Joel at windriven@yahoo.com. Be prepared for a seven-mile gravel ride to get to the trail work and be sure to bring food.
