Photos from the 2010 24 Hours at the Old Pueblo are finally in!

The Mountain Beavers of Growlers Gulch Racing distinguished themselves by finishing 15th in a division that included 34 teams. Team members included Ryan McMaster – who had the fastest lap time, Melanie Norris, Paul Norris, Jeff Muldoon, and Dara Muldoon. Mel and Jeff each rode two night laps.

“We want to thank our sponsors, along with Vern and Kimmeh Aikins who acted as our tour guides and chauffeurs,” said Paul Norris.

The team was sponsored by Kuat Racks, Highlander Cycling, Fort George Brewery, Blacx Seatposts, TurboCat Lights, Kenda, By the Bottle, Skutt Kilns, Harlot Clothing, Hotel Fifty, SAPA, Tucson MTB, Kalama Fire Department, and Growlers Gulch Racing.

Mel joins in the wild start. The other riders would be wise to get out of her way.

Not the Mountain Beavers, but a good vid from this year’s race.

  1. I don’t know what all the concern about the Cholla was…clearly you could dodge the Cholla and land in a nice soft patch of Prickly Pear!
