How Dumb Are You?

It’s well-known that we have some of the dumbest riders in the region. Help us prove it by signing on for the 2010 Ride ‘Em All, a hurts-so-good event in the Growlers’ tradition.

The fun begins at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10th and will end when you have covered 30+ miles and left sweat and tire tracks on virtually every trail in the GG system. How hard can it be?

This is not a race. We’ll break into groups, and it probably won’t take long for you to determine which is the best fit for your pace.

If you are committed to earning this wheel in your quest for Fist of Five recognition, the slowest group will try to accommodate you, but you will need to be fit enough and determined enough to keep the crank turning for 5 to 8 hours.

If you thought the 5K route was confusing, the Ride ‘em All will make your head spin. Best guess is that only 6 to 8 people know the system well enough to follow the convoluted directions that will allow us to cover the maximum amount of trail. That’s why riding on your own is not an option.

The ride route is currently being debated by the Board of Directors. A motion submitted last week by Jeff Muldoon to ride Bitter Bitch three times so that we can cover every foot of trail in the Secret Garden area nearly sparked a rebellion that forced Muldoon to leave town for several days.

We are now modifying the plan, and I will have it up soon. It won’t make sense. Just trust us. We’ll take care of you.
