Major Clean-up Planned at Growlers
August 19, 2010 on 2:00 pm | In Mountain Biking | 17 CommentsSusan Martin, who has dual citizenship in Northwest Trail Alliance and Growlers Gulch Racing, is leading a push to clean up the garbage on the Growlers system. She has set Saturday, October 23rd as the date for the work party.
Projects will include general trash pick up and removal of appliances and other items that have been dumped.
We are looking for at least five people to step up and volunteer to bring full-size pick-ups that can be used to haul the debris. Growlers Gulch Racing will fund all trips made to the Cowlitz County landfill on that day.
Put it on your calendar. We are still work on the organizational details and will get back to you with more information as October approaches.

We have plans for you, Crump. I know this will shock you, but we have a climbing line set so that you won’t have to that nasty ride gravel to the top of the 313. Instead, we have a single-track ascent for you. Bring the Burritos.

Sign me up and I believe my daughter and her husband will donate their truck and perhaps themselves to the clean up effort. Plus I will bring heavy duty trash bags.
