Brigman Crushes Competition at Peoria, Larch Mountain

August 13, 2008 on 2:28 am | In Mt. Biking |

Lance Brigman of the Growlers Gulch Cycling Club added two more titles to his trophy case in early August, winning both the Ouch Hill Climb at Corbett, Oregon, on August 3rd and the OBRA Time Trial Championship at Peoria, Oregon, on August 10th.

Brigman completed the Ouch Hill course, which featured 3,000 feet of climbing, in 1:10:15, more than five minutes ahead of the runner-up. The results were similar at OBRA where he finished the 25-mile time trial in 1:00:18, more than three minutes ahead of his closest competitor.

Brigman has already begun training for the Growlers Gulch Time Trial on September 20th.

What are you doing to prepare?

  1. I’m pounding the elliptical. I doubt I’d be in any kind of shape to compete by then ;) I’d have a stroke climbing 100 feet.

  2. Way to go Lance! I was wondering what kind of sponsorship support you might receive from the Growlers Gulch Cylcing Club?
