Brigman First at Larch, Second at Trout Lake

Brigman topped the 60+ division with a time of 1:11:32. The route covered 16.53 miles with 3,816 feet of elevation gain.
Brigman confessed to being “a little tired” after doing the 60 @ Sixty ride the day before but managed to stay in his large ring throughout the race.
On August 8th, Brigman finished second in an OBRA event at Trout Lake. The 46.5 mile course had 2,800 feet of elevation gain. Lance averaged 23 miles per hour.
“I was part of a three-man breakaway about six miles in,” he said. “Then there were just two of us left after 35 miles. Terry Brown slowly pulled away from me and finished a minute ahead. The rest of the peleton was about seven minutes behind us.”

The didn’t give an award to the awesome wife/Mom/grandma/grandmasueb@msn.com/Ba who drove very carefully to the top, who was followed (more like super-tailed) by a non-biker-friendly driver giving her obscene gestures! Still, biking was definitely more difficult than driving a car! Sue
