Larsen Is Our Friend
September 3, 2010 on 1:36 pm | In Mountain Biking | 2 CommentsHaven’t been in touch with Rob Larsen for a while? You might want to leave a message at the bottom of this post, reminding him that you care deeply about his well-being.
In July, GGG member and Belmont Station beer goddess Amy Singmaster donated a stellar IPA gift pack for the 60 @ Sixty ride. Paul Norris had the initial high bid at $150. After Paul made the $150 contribution, he turned the gift pack in and said to raffle it a second time. Rob was the high bidder at $120.
Larsen wasn’t around to take delivery, but Dave and I checked the twelve brews very carefully after Sunday’s ride. Please note that the beers were never in danger. We were taking inventory so that we would have a handle on the contents. All for security purposes, of course.
The 22-ouncers include these intriguing brews: Hopportunity Knocks from Caldera, Hoptogon from Silver Mountain, Watershed IPA from Oakshire, and much more.
We love you, Larsen!
