Brigman Sets Course Record at Estacada
April 20, 2009 on 7:46 pm | In Mountain Biking | 4 CommentsWhy was the fire truck called to the finish line at the Estacada Time Trial on April19th?
Because Lance Brigman’s rear tire caught fire as he thoroughly toastedĀ the competition during the raceĀ - This is not a joke.
Brigman averaged 25 miles per hour and completed the 20-mile course in 48:34. He finished five minutes ahead of the runner-up and established a new course record for the 60+ division.
“I felt a little tired afterwards,” Brigman said. “I still want the 10-minute handicap at the Growlers Gulch 5,000.”

Didn’t we already say that we were giving him the 10 minute Handicap and the honorable starting position in Kelso.
