Stage 3 of the Northwest Cup Downhill series saw several local riders turn in good showings at Mount Hood. The event took place June 24-26.
Geo Smith of Project 529 was first in Cat 1 50+ with a time of 5.32.39.
Jason Moon finished fourth in Cat 1 40+ with a time of 4.35.75. Monte Price was seventh with a 4.53.03. Jim Kam set the pace with a 4:28.39.
Eric Loney was one of five riders on the mountain to come in under four minutes. Loney placed fifth in the Pro division with a 3.59.49. Specialized’s Mikey Silvestri was the winner with a 3.45.58.
