Brigman Inflicts Pain at Estacada

Evidently, Lance Brigman wasn’t satisfied with crushing his competition by 5+ minutes in his last race at Estacada.

In a 20-mile TT on May 3, Brigman – who is prepping for the upcoming GG5K – rubbed salt in the wounds, winning by a full six minutes. He finished in 49:50, averaging 24.2 miles per hour.

If his competitors think there is even a tiny glimmer of hope down the road, they are deluded. Lance put the latest whipping on them while he was sick.

“I had a bad cold and couldn’t get my heart rate up,” Brigman complained. “Since I couldn’t go anaerobic, I just stayed at lactic threshold.”

Translation?

Additional ass-kickings are on the horizon.

“I’ll make sure to juice (cough) with aaaah Gatorade before the next race”
