When he returned home from the service in 1946 he promised himself two things - he was through with killing, and he would do his best to make America a more beautiful place. Eric Loney toasted the competition to take the Oregon state semi-pro downhill title at Willamette Pass on Sunday, August 17th. Schlecht Website Project Now Complete

Schlecht Construction launched a dynamic, new website in early August. The new site features improved functionality for internal users, a slideshow and video, and a more visible press page.

John Howerton of Lil John’s.biz handled the site configuration. Write Tek Northwest provided copy and assisted with project management.

Growlers Crew Assists with Ape Canyon Clean-up

Seventeen volunteers participated in a bottom-to-top clean-up of the Ape Canyon Trail at Mount St. Helens on Sunday, August 3rd. The weather was great and everyone - including four first-timers - made it to the top.
