Snow Ride

Dave, Denise, and I were the only ones dumb enough to show up for the Saturday morning snow ride at Growlers. There was a minimum of 3-4 inches of snow under the canopy, with 6 to 10 inches in spots.

I was in 1-3 for almost the entire ride but it felt like 2-6. Because it was so cold, the traction wasn’t terrible. The Kenda I have on the back did a real good job, and the summer Ralph on the front wasn’t bad as long as you didn’t use too much front brake.

The vid clips were shot on the lower trails. You’d have needed a snowmobile to clean Legacy.

  1. My ride around Lake Sac in the snow/ice was almost as epic! No angry geese or people walking at Growlers. Thanks for the bike ski adventure Jeep and Dave.

  2. I’d sure like for you to show me how you mix the music in to the vid? I’ll send you a few pics from when Keith and I rode Stella on Saturday. Great job

  3. Thanks for clearing the trails! Hicks and I hit it for an hour or so….it was kind of fun blowing up snow berms!
